Santa Clara, California, MARCH 2011 - Digital Lighting, Inc. (DLI) today proudly announces another milestone in quality and innovation of product by achieving full ENERGY STAR listing. With this award, Q-RAY™ MR-16 becomes the World’s 1st MR-16 to be ENERGY STAR qualified with 50,000 hours with the lowest power consumption of only 3W. To meet ENERGY STAR listing for replacement lamp, LED lamp needs to meet efficacy higher than 40 lumens per Watt; 6000 hours life test with minimal light degradation through an accredited testing laboratory and other requirements per ENERGY STAR® Program Requirements for Integral LED Lamps.

The environmentally friendly Q-RAY MR16 bulb provides good Color Rendering Index and is suitable for accent lighting replacement, utilizing only a fraction of the power as compared to halogen bulbs. As it does not emit heat and or UV on its light beam, it won’t cause degradation on the object. Elegantly designed, the Q-RAY MR16 can be used in almost anywhere indoor or outdoor with protective housing. We’ve also tested in a concealed, thermally insulated ceiling to ensure 50,000 hours is achievable. It’s a practical yet environmental friendly choice of lighting among urban and modern communities.
