Project objective:

An automated traffic data collection system for the whole of Malaysia which consists of 90 geographical locations. A video based detection system and its being linked through GSM network.

Description of works:-

To supply, install and commissioning of Permanent Traffic Data Collection System at 90 Locations in Malaysia.

- Video based VDS.
- GSM Communication.
- Automated reporting system.
- Automated statistic system.

Benefits:

It has allowed the Malaysia Highway Planning Unit to collect data remotely and wirelessly across the nation for future highway network planning.
