ItraMAS a Partner of United States DOE Energy Star

November 2008 - ItraMAS recently awarded The Energy Star mark by EPA & DOE to use in the marketing and advertising materials. This is a crucial marketing platform for both partners to help promote the ENERGY STAR partnership.

ENERGY STAR was formed in 1992 as a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S department of Energy. ENERGY STAR is a voluntary partnership among consumers, manufacturers, an government united in the pursuit of a common goal: "to protect our environment for future generations by changing to energy efficient practices today." This partnership offers a unique opportunity to leverage ENERGY STAR. The ENERGY STAR label appeals over 50 different categories including new homes, commercial buildings and industrial plants.

Products that have earned the ENERGY STAR meet strict criteria for energy efficiency set by EPA and DOE. By choosing products that have earned the ENERGY STAR, consumers can reduce energy use with no sacrifice in product features or quality.

Some of the benefits in enrolling into this partnership program are to differentiate products in the market place, as well as to use ENERY STAR, a recognized symbol to market the product globally.
